Noname by Capricorn Kitchens came to the rescue of one of its previous customers by carrying out tricky repairs on a 27-year-old kitchen.
Judy Kirkham from Formby, had scoured "every kitchen place" she could think of for new mahogany panels, after her built-in fridge had leaked and caused damage to the existing panels.
As Judy is currently looking to sell her home, she was reluctant to replace the whole kitchen, but she was simply told by a number of stores that they were unable to help and as Judy had forgotten Capricorn's address and telephone number she said "I was getting to the stage where I thought I couldn't get it done" She eventually tracked down Capricorn's showroom in Birchall Street, Liverpool after finding the firm's original paper work for her kitchen.
Ian Marsden, Capricorn Kitchens Director, explains: "The kitchen industry doesn't use mahogany anymore, but after doing a bit of research I sourced some mahogany board from a pool table manufacturer". Capricorn, who have been trading for over 35 years, were able to build a cabinet and fit panels to bring Judy's 27-year-old kitchen back to life. Ian adds: "Judy was very happy with us keeping the costs down by just carrying out the repair."
